Easy stewed fruit recipe
Got leftover berries and don't know what to do with them? Then make some delicious stewed fruit. Perfect to swirl into yoghurt, have on pancakes or have on top of porridge. This recipe is super simple and you can practically make it with any fruit you have lying around the house.
As is the way with most dishes like this, there is no 'one' recipe which you have to follow, nor are there any 'standard' measurements. Depending on how sweet the fruit is, you can either add very little sugar, or you may have to add more in case the fruit is still a little sour. This is why I haven't included a measurement for the caste sugar. For this recipe, you just let the fruit become mushy & stew on low-medium heat with a little water. Then you add sugar to taste! Personally, I prefer my stewed fruit a little tart and not completely sweet.
