Masala sweetcorn
Looking for a quick and tasty snack to put together? Try this masala sweetcorn! This is a popular snack is ready in less than 10 minutes this snack is perfect for if you want something light and healthy. Masala sweetcorn is best served warm or hot. It is sauteed with a little butter and then spices like chilli, chaat masala and cumin are tossed through. I like to garnish with a few coriander leaves as well!
Ingredients
400g sweetcorn (1 tin), drained
1/2 tsp cumin seeds
1/2 tsp chaat masala
1/2 red chilli powder
Salt to taste

2 tsp butter
Method
Method
- In a non-stick frying pan melt the butter. Add the cumin seeds and let them sizzle.
- Once melted add the sweetcorn and saute for 3-5 minutes on low heat.
- Next, sprinkle in the chilli powder and chaat masala. Also add salt to taste - I only added around 1/8 of a teaspoon.
- Mix well and saute for 1 more minute. Finally, sprinkle over coriander leaves and serve!
